Please review WP:NOT. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a place to tout your viewpoint about your group or agency. If you are notable, you will see various viewpoints about you expressed insofar as they are equally as relevant and significant. Thanks. - CobaltBlueTony 20:52, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Should have been a 10RR violation — but he wasn't warned about that. — Arthur Rubin | (talk) 23:47, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Spam

Sending "welcome" messages to editors who edit "your" articles (articles you created, about your organization — no one owns articles here on Wikipedia, as can be seen at WP:OWN) is considered SPAM, and is not likely to be helpful in keeping the articles intact. — Arthur Rubin | (talk) 23:46, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Article content ownership

Do you realise that by creating the article, and by adding the content, you effectively have copyrighted it under the GFDL. That licence state explicitly: The purpose of this License is to make a manual, textbook, or other functional and useful document "free" in the sense of freedom: to assure everyone the effective freedom to copy and redistribute it, with or without modifying it, either commercially or noncommercially. Therefore, you cannot claim ownership of the article, and everybody can change and modify the content. Stronger, the content is already part of the world, and anywhere were this content is showing up, in modified or not form, it is out of your hands and they can claim that based on the posting of that information here at Wikipedia. If you do not want that, the only way is to get the article deleted. -- Kim van der Linde at venus 02:29, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
