[edit] Isabelline Gothic

The conventions in English Wikipedia say that when it is possible the name of the article is to be in English. I wait for a valid argumentation for the undiscussed change of the original name of this article, Isabelline Gothic.--Garcilaso (talk) 21:45, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

If you see the article CNT, it uses Spanish name Confederación Nacional del Trabajo, not National Confederation of Labour. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 04:12, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
It depends if there is a commonly used translation of the entity to English. Talking about your favourite subject, you can also find Iron Column or Friends of Durruti Group or Durruti Column. But we are not talking now about names of trade unions, political groups or associations, but about the name of an architectural style. It could be closer to a good example the article Kharja instead of Jarcha (where I learned this convention, (see the talk), Constructivism (art) instead of Конструктивизм Manueline instead of Manuelino or Giyōfū architecture instead of 擬洋風建築. Some styles have been coined in English in the original languages, as Art Nouveau, but these are excepcions. Isabelline or Isabelline Gothic are widely used terms in English as a superficial search in Google can show: [1]
Please, be sure to be conveniently informed of Wikipedia conventions before you move an article. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, moving articles without a previous debate , as you did to Gótico Isabelino, is not consistent with Wikipedia policies. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you--Garcilaso (talk) 10:41, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
Hmmm. I have moved it to English title. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 16:06, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
