[edit] Islamist or no?
Something's not adding up here on the "is he an Islamist or is he not" debate which has taken place via edit summaries. He is a member of the Haq Movement, so says the article. In the infobox on Haq Movement, it says "Political ideology: Islamism". People that adhere to Islamism are Islamists. So either the Haq Movement page is wrong and needs to be fixed or al-Jowder is an Islamist (or al-Jowder has performed an amazing feat by joining an Islamist organization while keeping himself removed from being categorised as an Islamist. I'm betting it's one of the first two.). Good Ol’factory (talk) 00:31, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
- He is not Islamist. The Haq page is incorrect, but some editor keeps undoing the change without providing any source to back his/her claim. Haq is made up of both Islamists and secularists. --Arabbi (talk) 17:40, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'll raise the issue on the Haq page. This seems to be the root of the misunderstanding on my part. Good Ol’factory (talk) 02:10, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
