[edit] Playing Career
[edit] Aston Villa
Osbourne was given the squad number 27 after Martin O'Neill's arrival at Aston Villa. Osbourne made his Premiership debut on October 21, 2006, when he came on as a second half substitute for Steven Davis against Fulham at Villa Park.
December 28, 2006 saw Osbourne signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract keeping him at Villa Park until the summer of 2010.[1]
On January 10, 2008, Osbourne agreed to join Leicester City on loan[2], however just a few days later Villa manager Martin O’Neill was forced to cancel the proposed deal because of mounting injury concerns.[3]
[edit] International Career
The former England Under-16 international made his name as one of the stars of a strong Aston Villa reserve outfit and the club are keen to tie him down on a long-term deal. He is currently trying out for the England Under-21's.
[edit] Trivia
- Isaiah has a brother who plays the same position at local rivals Coventry City called Isaac Osbourne.
