Isabell Herlovsen

Isabell Herlovsen (born June 23, 1988 in Mönchengladbach, Germany) is a Norwegian footballer. She is a forward and midfielder in her club side Kolbotn Fotball.
She had her first appearance for the Norwegian national team at the age of 16. In her first major tournament, the 2005 UEFA Women's Championship, she scored two goals which kept her country in the tournament, eventually to reach the Final where they lost 3-1 to Germany. In the FIFA Women's World Cup 2007 in China Herlovsen scored a goal in the group match against Ghana, and she scored the only goal in the quarter-final in which Norway beat China 1-0 to reach the last four in the tournament. Later in the year she scored for Kolbotn when they won the Cup Final in Norway and the players received their trophies from the King of Norway.
Herlovsen lives in Fredrikstad. Her father is Kai Erik Herlovsen, a former Norwegian international footballer who also played professionally in Germany for Borussia Mönchengladbach. Isabell has an older sister and a younger brother.
