Isabel Plantagenet (1409-2 October 1484) was the only daughter of Richard of Conisburgh, 3rd Earl of Cambridge and Anne de Mortimer. She was an older sister of Richard Plantagenet, 3rd Duke of York and, like him, simultaneously a great-grandchild (through their father) and a great-great-great grandchild (through their mother) of Edward III.

On 18 February 1413 she was either betrothed or married to Sir Thomas Grey. He was a namesake son of Sir Thomas Grey and Lady Alice Neville, daughter of Ralph Neville, 1st Earl of Westmorland and Margaret Stafford.

The engagement would presumably have been negated with the execution of her father for treason in 1415. Richard had been stripped of all his titles and estates by Henry V of England and his daughter was effectively disinherited.

She is known to have married Henry Bourchier, 1st Earl of Essex at some point prior to 1426. They were parents to at least eleven children.

  • William Bourchier, Viscount Bourchier (d. 1480). Married Anne Woodville, daughter of Richard Woodville, 1st Earl Rivers and Jacquetta of Luxembourg. They were parents of Henry Bourchier, 2nd Earl of Essex.
  • Henry Bourchier (d. 1462). Married Elizabeth Scales, 8th Baroness Scales.
  • Humphrey Bourchier, 1st Baron Cromwell (d. April 14, 1471). Killed in the Battle of Barnet.
  • John Bourchier (d. 1495). Married first Elizabeth Ferrers and secondly Elizabeth Chichelle.
  • Edward Bourchier (d. December 30, 1460). Killed in the Battle of Wakefield.
  • Thomas Bourchier (b. prior to 1448 d. 1492). Married Isabella Barre.
  • Florence Bourchier (d. 1525).
  • Fulk Bourchier. Considered to have died young.
  • Hugh Bourchier. Considered to have died young.
  • Isabella Bourchier. Considered to have died young.
  • Laura Bourchier. (b.1440) Married John Earl of Devon

Her husband died on 4 April 1483. She remained a widow and died more than a year later. She was buried in Maldon, Essex.
