Isabel Carolina Arciniegas (born September 7, 1991 in Caracas, Venezuela) is a Venezuelan 2x VYW Surf Competition Winner, 3x PIPELINE Competition Champion, who enjoys the theatre arts. She was born in Venezuela, later moved to the states of Oklahoma and Florida. She is best known in her city[clarify] for her role as "Alicia" in the Spanish Broadway musical "La Pequeña Payasa." She is also known for her love of animals, and has donated a considerable amount of her profits from acting to better the cats of America. Her most notable donation is adopting a norweigan cat,"Uncle Elizabeth" and nursing him back to health after an almost deadly chloroform incident. She is reportedly good friends with the national-qualifying Costume Designer, Amabel Martin. Isabel is no stranger to national qualifying friends, as Katrin Schupp received a similar, but harder, award for her heartwrenching musical portrayal of the raw reality of incest. All three friends plan to attend the world renowned theatre school, Otterbean.
[edit] Career
Arciniegas began surfing at the age of 6 then seriously got committed to it when she turned 9. Enrolling herself in competitions and winning the money, she is known for donating all of it to 'her poor people of her country'. She was also involved in many theatre productions in Venezuela, despite the fact that the culture of Venezuela does not acknowledge the theatre performances.
The Arciniegas Family had to leave Venezuela because of the problems with the President Hugo Chavez, and their location is currently unknown.
