Isaac Smith (Lismore)

Isaac Samuel Smith (born 28 July 1974) is a member of the Labor and contested the preselection in the 2007 federal election for the Division of Page, in New South Wales.
Isaac grew up in Lismore, New South Wales and Graduated from Southern Cross University with a BA (Media)(Hons) majoring in Media Theory. While lecturing in the Media Department at Southern Cross University since 2001, Isaac started his own business in 2006, running a website to support local community groups and locally owned businesses in the Northern Rivers. He also runs the Working Carers Support Gateway in NSW, which looks after the interests of those caring for people with a disability.
In 2005, Smith joined the Australian Labor Party to contest the 2007 federal election, but is now focusing on the Local Government Elections in 2008.
