Isaac Lidsky

Isaac Lidsky is a lawyer and former child actor. In July 2008, he will become the first blind US Supreme Court clerk, to Justice Sandra Day O’Connor.[1]

Lidsky came to fame acting in the role of Weasel on Saved by the Bell. He later contracted retinitis pigmentosa. After he gave up acting, he studied Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at Harvard College, graduating with honors in June 1999. In July that year he founded Poindexter Systems, an Internet advertising optimisation company, with Joe Zawadzki (his brother-in-law) and his friend Ted Shergalis.[2]

Lidsky left Poindexter in June 2001 and started studying law at Harvard Law School in Fall 2001.

Lidsky is the head of Hope For Vision [3] and also works with the Foundation Fighting Blindness.

Lidsky lives with his wife, Dorothy (Johnston), whom he married in 2004.[4] [5]
