Isaac Delahaye was born January 9, 1982 in Ypres, Belgium and is the lead guitarist for the Dutch death metal band God Dethroned. He replaced former guitarist Jens after he left in 2004. Delahaye has been with the band since June 29, 2004. He joined the band after a request from drummer and longtime friend Arien Von Weesenbeek, and after several meetings with Von Weesenbeek and Henri Sattler, Delhayes was welcomed into the band.
Delhayes's songs tend to be very melodic and have catchy/groove oriented riffs to an extent. However, he is a very accomplished lead guitar player and incorporates heavy amounts of legato, alternate picking, tremolo picking, tapping, and use of the whammy bar in his solos. Delhaye uses exclusively Jackson Guitars, his primary ones being a green Jackson Kelly and a black Jackson Kelly that have Seymour Duncan pickups with a Floyd Rose tremolo. He uses Madison and Bogner amplifiers.
