[edit] Sources

It seems as if this article makes several claims without noting any sources and I belive some need to be added. Does anyone else notice this? Ajwebb 01:25, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

(response) (mcdonis) Much of the information (apporx 90%) is taken from the Ironton Tribune and Lawrence County Historical Society. A few others such as info concerning the shadier side of Ironton was taken from residents memories.

I am working on writing a book on Ironton, although Its still in its earliest form. User:mcdonis? (Talk) 17:22, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

How's that coming, by the way? Keep us informed, OK? RJCraig 23:31, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] River Regatta?

Is the "Rally on the River" what used to be called the River Regatta? Or something new? RJCraig 04:26, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

(mcdonis) I believe this is the case User:mcdonis? (Talk) 17:22, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

Any confirmation on this? RJCraig 23:31, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] High Schools

Rock Hill should be on the HS list. All RH schools are within Ironton, OH address. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 132.235.44.15 (talk • contribs) 15:14, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

But, to the best of my recollection, the Rock Hill School District is not completely contained within the city limits, right? (Correct me if I'm wrong.) If we go by postal address alone, then the Coal Grove/Dawson-Bryant district should also be listed under Ironton. Just saying.... --RJCraig 15:47, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
No, its not within the city limits. It is listed within the Rock Hill district. Seicer (talk) (contribs) 16:09, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the clarification. Since posting the above I've been looking around the Web for a school district map; would you know of any? --RJCraig 16:14, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] School table links

Is there any reason why the schools links in the table are given like this

Kingsbury Elementary [1]

instead of like this

Kingsbury Elementary

Just wondering, since the mark indicates an external link. --RJCraig 02:01, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notable people question

Is "J Stoker" really a notable person? Secretagentrachel 13:30, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

(mcdonis) Agreed, I did a google search of this person and basicly only got a hit on the wiki reference. I removed them since I cant find any other reference for them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.254.45.26 (talk) 19:51, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
