Placing a CSD tag, based on shortness of an article, one minute after the creation of an article is hardly good wiki manners. This article is hardly to short to exist it contains the following ingridients:
- Timeline
- Profile
- Political demarkations to other sector of Irish solidarity movement in Norway
- Reference, official government report

Regarding notablity, yes this was a small organization. Nevertheless, I think there are some issues worth noting. One, that an international network of pro-IRA organizations were built up throughout Western Europe in the 1970s. This group maintained links with Sinn Fein and arranged visits there. Nowadays, SV, to which the members of the organization belonged, is a government party in Norway and I don't think it is irrelevant to include information about this group. Moreover it had 10 years of history and a continuation through the United Ireland Committee. --Soman 10:52, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Article Importance
I wasn't looking to delete this article with the prod so much as to stir up some improvement of it. The article appears to need expansion and good sources. If there is nothing more to add, there than it should go to Afd. I am always puzzled by the articles that are fiercely defended but not substantially improved. Happy editing! --Stormbay (talk) 16:04, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
