Irishtown Stadium

Irishtown Stadium was originally built in the 1950s by Shelbourne FC, a football club in the League of Ireland. Shels however only spent one season (1955/56) playing competitive first team matches there due to lack of spectator facilities.
The stadium is now run by the Dublin City Council and caters for athletics and amateur football clubs.
