Irish Republican Solidarity Group

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Irish Republican Solidarity Group was formed in 2004, as a think tank for some of the groups in Britain campaigning for a United Ireland. The IRSG is made up of members of Cairde Na hÉireann, the James Connolly Society, the James Larkin Society, and the Wolfe Tone Society, as well as independent members. Its members are spread across Britain divided into six separate regions, each with a chairman. The IRSG is led by a 12-member Executive Committee[1][2].

[edit] Youth Organisation

There is a youth/student organisation known as the Volunteer Diarmuid O'Neill Youth Movement (DONY for short). On St. Patrick's Day 2006, it led a march of over 200, and also plans a big demonstration in 2006 for the 10th anniversary of the murder of IRA Volunteer Diarmuid O'Neill.
