[edit] Proposed move

The bracketted suffix naming protocol was arrived at as a comprimise to Ireland national football team (1882-1920). Personally I don't think either article should exist, however those issues aside, I think the proposed new article names are more natural for the reader The Fashion Icon 16:35, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

  • Exactly what right have you to decide what articles should exist or not ? These articles between them cover an era in the history of Irish international football that does not fit easily into other articles within and Wikipedia. Renaming the articles by putting the initials first is really pointless and adds nothing. Dozens of other articles already link to these articles and renaming them is a waste of time.
