Ireland national basketball team

The Ireland national basketball team is the team that represents Ireland in international competitions. It is currently trying to qualify for Eurobasket 2007. Ireland is competing in Group A of Division B. It narrowly failed to win promotion to Division A in 2005, losing to Denmark by 4 points after have won the first game in Dublin by 10 points. Ireland has never qualified for the final stages of Eurobasket.
