Dawn Martin represented Ireland in the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest after winning the national final selection. Her song "Is Always Over Now?" was one of eight songs presented in the national final, which was held on 8 March 1998 at the RTÉ television centre in Dublin. Pat Kenny hosted the event, and the winner was selected by regional juries.[1]
