I've reverted the image. To use part of the Iranian flag - which contains the holy message "Allahu Akhbar" could be construed as being desecration to Islamic eyes.

Are you pulling my legs? Using that "holy message" is a desecration to many Iranian eyes. What are you taking Iranians for? A bunch of Islamic loonies? I'm sure you were well intentioned, but obviously know very little about history of the flag. I'll revert back the icon as discussed at Image_talk:Iran_coa.png Kaveh (talk) 05:59, 3 Mar 2005 (UTC)
I left more details at User_talk:Grutness#Iran_Geo_Stub Kaveh (talk) 06:12, 3 Mar 2005 (UTC)
I thank Kaveh for making a neutral and real version of the Iranian flag ommiting the terrorist sign of the Islamists which has polluted our national flag for the last 26 years. That Islamic sign was hurting the eyes of Iranians here. Thank you again for your effort.
