Sunni and Shi'a are not ethnic groups. Sunni Arab is not a valid ethnic term, because Sunni refers to a type of Islam (a religion) while Arab refers to an ethno-linguistic group of people.Sicarii (talk) 08:28, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

I would suggest minority politics in Iraq be merged into this page, not vice-versa, since this is the larger theme-topic.
