Oregon and parks and stuff
Hi, see you're interested in Oregon stuff--please think about joining WikiProject Oregon--most of us are pretty nice. :) Also several of us talked about making the the List of Oregon State Parks page prettier and more useful. The discussion is archived on the WPOR talk page, and a draft of a new version of the article is on one User:EncMstr's subpages. Let me know if you need help finding them, or feel free to bring it up to the project. We're thinking of getting the Oregon article up to featured article status, so it would nice to have an outdoor recreation section like Minnesota's that links to a redlink-free state parks page. Any work in that direction will be awesome. Happy editing! Katr67 01:53, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
NRHP
Hello and welcome to the NRHP project, poke around on the project page for a bunch of stuff to do. May want to check out the Frank Lloyd Wright Collaboration, it's all new and improving. : ) IvoShandor 04:03, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Kam Wah Chung
I have a stepfamilyinlaw member who used to help run the place. I don't see this person very often, but let me know if you need any info about the place and maybe I can get in touch. Katr67 20:48, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- I might eventually take you up on that. For now, I'm doing some document collection and review - talk to someone later when I've ID'ed some holes to fill in. -Ipoellet 19:27, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

RE: Judeeclare
You wrote on my talk page:
- You've reverted a bunch of edits by Judeeclare, and I don't argue that they were worth reverting. Judeeclare made a bunch of edits today, all (of those that I looked closely at) related to inserting links to/information from a particular external site. Do you know (or speculate) what the story is with that user?
I have no idea what was up with that user. It looked like they found (or had) a website they thought they could link into every state page, and then some. I reverted the edits because the linked pages that I visited didn't add anything noteworthy. Few, if any, of the links on the external site appeared to be spammy; so it may have just been a case of a well-intentioned but overzealous new editor. I'll assume good faith until I see a reason to do otherwise. To the editor's credit, they stopped adding the links as soon as I warned them once. --JFreeman (talk) 03:26, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
Barview and such
Yea, I created those a while ago, but never really got around to creating the pages. Do what you will, and if I ever get around to it, I can always recreate them.--Zinc2005 22:09, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Problem solved
Never mind, I went ahead and created direct disambiguations on the tops of the pages, and I'll do the same for my other pages. Go ahead and flag it for deletion.--Zinc2005 22:33, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

Historic landmarks and "borrowing"
I responded on the NHL list talk page, just fyi. And I'm "borrowing" back my idea which you implemented so well for a project I've been contemplating. Trying to get List of Registered Historic Places in Florida to be a featured list. For now, I'm using User:Ebyabe/gloppy7 as my sandbox for it. When you get done with yours, maybe you can gimme some thoughts on mine. :) -Ebyabe 20:05, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Re: your article on Sturgeon Point Light Station. I was going to write an article on this lighthouse, and I found your superb article there already. Bigturtle 23:19, 19 July 2007 (UTC) |
New template
Hey, I just checked out the Oregon template you're working on in your sandbox. Phenomenal! I'm looking forward to seeing it in use. Katr67 02:22, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
WPOR Collaboration of the Week
Greetings WPOR member, we are starting a weekly collaboration project where we will announce two articles that are currently stubs that we hope to work together to improve. No pressure to help, but if you would like to, just stop by one of the articles and see if you can find information to expand the article with, copy edit what is there, help with formatting, or add some images. This week’s articles are: Alis volat propriis and Fusitriton oregonensis. Aboutmovies 22:30, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

WPOR Collaboration of the Week
Greetings WikiProject Oregon employees. Well a big thanks to all those who helped improve Alis volat propriis and Fusitriton oregonensis last week. This week’s Stub improvement are: Government of Oregon which should be easy, and Miss Oregon. Again, no pressure to help with the collaboration, choose one, both, or neither. Also, feel free to opt out of the notifications at the new page dedicated to collaborative efforts at WPOR (newsletter is in R&D). Aboutmovies 18:54, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

- "displaying information that can be easily compared between the different records. The coordinates can't - not really human readable without following a couple links"
Actually, the coordinates are readable with a single link. "Map of all coordinates" is at the bottom of List of Minnesota state parks and will look better real soon when the name= parameter is supported. (SEWilco 03:52, 25 August 2007 (UTC))
