Wikipedia:IPCOLL/INVITE

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Here is some bits of wording to help folks draft invitations to join this WikiProject.

As you may have notice, thanks to suggestions at the Workshop, we started a Wikipedia:WikiProject Israel Palestine Collaboration. I'm writing to ask if you would join as a member. By virtue of ________________, you are already making an important contribution within the scope of the Collaboration. So, by joining you wouldn't be commiting more than you are already doing. For our part, it would be beneficial to show who else is already working toward this mission and, in particular, to help build up a critical mass of uninvolved parties who are trying to quiet that battleground. What do you think? You can sign up here.

Thanks very much. Hope this finds you well,

any chance you be willing to sign on as a member? It could just be a gesture of support and, as here, some readiness to consult/advise us on what looks like a fairly challenging undertaking. Thanks.

Would you be willing to join us and sign on? Here the shortcut, WP:IPCOLL. Even if only as an observer and occasional advisor, it would be a vote of confidence or moral support.

Following the recent ArbCom case, we've set up a new WikiProject Israel Palestine Collaboration. While the WikiProject is still developing, our goals are to promote a more hospitable editing environment for Israeli-Palestinian topics; quiet the battleground among editors; help prevent or resolve POV disputes; and mobilize Project members to work together to improve articles.

We'd like to see a broad range of participation from WIkipedia editors, from all points of view and from various editing and admin interests. So, please join this WikiProject as a member and help it make a difference with the articles in this topic area. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions for the WikiProject, too. Thanks very much.
