Ioannis Drymonakos (born January 18, 1984) is a Greek swimmer from Athens[1]. He became the first ever Greek swimmer to hold a European swimming record by clocking a time of 1:54.16 seconds in 200m butterfly event of the European LC Championships 2008 final on March 21, 2008[2].
He announced his retirement on May 21, 2008 following tested positive for banned drugs during a doping-control test.
