Ioana Raluca Olaru is a professional Romanian tennis player. At the 2007 French Open, she upset the 30th seed, Julia Vakulenko in straight sets, but eventually lost to the 7th seed Ana Ivanović in the third round.[1] As of October 29, 2007, her highest singles ranking on the WTA was World Number 55, of which she achieved on October 29, 2007. In her career, Olaru has won 7 ITF singles and 6 ITF doubles titles, but no WTA titles. She lost to Agnes Szavay in the final of the Junior's Singles 2005 French Open tournament, and lost in the doubles final to Szavay and Victoria Azarenka with Amina Rakhim.
