This article was full of unreasonable things:

"Wood is an amazing school with wonderful students. However, one particular student stands above the rest, Chase Bennington, 8th grade. "His intelligence surpasses our best expectations" says Soisson. He does not only sucseed academicly but in other areas too. He won the schools final baksetball game with 2 broken legs, while wrestling a grizzly bear. He holds many records among them a 100m time of .02s. He is truly the shining star of Wood. Another great athelete at wood is so famous she is known only as "The Furoius Furrow" she is the only soccer player on the schools team and still keeps the schools record undefeted. Her goals per game ranged from 59-41190682. She has already been recruited to the national soccer team but declined saying "I would like to stay with my friends because they always come first". Yes also an amazing star at wood."

I've removed all that, fixed up some of the grammar and style, and added it to appropriate categories. -- Pinball22 17:32, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Inza Wood Middle School

ANNOUNCEMENT:

This page is for a creative writing class, and we would prefer if you would not mess with it.

Thank You,

Wikipedia is not here for you to use for your creative writing. Katr67 22:28, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
Please do not edit Inza Wood Middle School, as it was created for a class project and we will get our teacher to verify this. teacher's e-mail address edited out by Katr67
We will add a note at the bottom that says that this is for a school project and not to be taken seriously. We will also add the real version under the fake part.

Thank You,
Teddibear4774 22:41, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Ted, I have to agree with Katr67, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a forum for arbitrary use, creative writing, etc. Your teacher may not be aware of this. If your class wishes to use Wiki software for such purposes, I may be able to assist in setting up a wiki for that purpose, but Wikipedia is not the appropriate resource. Feel free to contact my via my talk page, or via my web site. -Pete 22:52, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] School project?

If this is indeed a school project, your teacher needs to read Wikipedia:School and university projects. If your teacher needs proof that you indeed vandalized a wikipedia page as part of your project, then s/he can look at the page history. If the page ends up being deleted, s/he can contact me and I can get an administrator to help retrieve the information. Katr67 22:54, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Protection nomination

I think that this article should be protected. People are contantly vandalizing and whatnot, and creating new accounts just to vandalize this page. I'd like to nominate it to be protected, but I don't know how.

BTW, why is it up for deletion? Other schools have their own page. This IS an encyclopedia. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by PKKnoHaseo-san (talkcontribs) 02:49, 24 January 2007 (UTC).

"Every other school has an article" is not sufficient reason for having an article. Please read WP:NOTE about notability and also User:Dpbsmith/BEEFSTEW for one user's ideas about how to make a good-quality high school article--these ideas can also be applied to junior high school articles. Katr67 04:05, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
P.S. We can address protection after the afd. Katr67 04:08, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
