[edit] Vandalism
the dude you warned against vandalism - User:Ciava - has been being silly at Ian_Dickson - i don't really know the procedures, so I thought i'd let you know what's been going on.... cheers, Petesmiles 13:38, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
Just wanted to say hi to a fellow INTP. You made a spelling correction (thank you) on my page for Eruch Jessawala.--chris 16:32, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Crossed reverts
Oops. We both tried to fix the same page. Is there a way to make that less likely? Coren 23:28, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- I don't know of any, but when you reverted it, it wasn't reverted all the way. Unless someone else has gotten that done by now, I'll go off and finish the reversion. In the future, you should go further back in the page history to make sure that there have been no other vandals in the past few edits. InvisibleK 23:33, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Carolina Chickadee photo
You have placed a photo on the page for Carolina Chickadee, this is from the USGS/NPWRC web site. You have to watch the images on that site--not all are taken by US govt. employees--many are reproduced on that site with permission, and I believe that is true for that photo. See this page, which is basically their copyright statement:
- This page is a composite of the efforts of many people who have donated photographs, songs, and other information. The photographs, videos and songs are used with permission of the authors. They have provided permission for viewing images and playing the sound files in conjunction with use of this website, but permission must be obtained for other uses of the files. Please do not copy photographs, videos or songs without their permission!
See also the list of photographers, which lists Jim Stasz as a private individual. (Even a USGS employee might have taken a photo on their own time and then allowed its use.) That's not a great photo, at any rate. I've got a similar average photo of the bird and will replace it until we can find a better one. (I've got a pair nesting in my yard, so maybe I'll be able to get some.)--Cotinis 11:34, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks. I'll check that list for the names of the people who took any other photos I've uploaded and list those images for deletion. --InvisibleK 12:59, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
