[edit] Your edits to MM
Just to let you know, adding {{sprotected3}} does not protect an article; only administrators can do that. If you have any questions, please let me know. —tregoweth (talk) 18:54, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Semi-protected templates
Mainly {{sprotected}}, which adds the full notice to the article, and {{sprotected2}}, which just adds the padlock in the corner. And if you're curious, Category:Protection templates has all sorts of templates. —tregoweth (talk) 02:38, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: I had to delete it.
No, it's a mirror-image ambigram, meaning it looks the same if you look at it in the mirror. It's not rotationally symmetric. Λυδαcιτγ 03:24, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Page moves
Please don't perform non-obvious page moves without gaining consensus on the talk page. Thanks. -SpuriousQ (talk) 00:20, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- Let me emphasize what SpuriousQ says. Your action in moving Google Earth and Purple were disruptive and if you continue to disrupt Wikipedia in this way it is likely that you will be blocked from editing. Please stop. Gwernol 03:36, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your userpage
I have removed the {{bot}} and {{sprotect}} tags from your userpage. This account is not a bot and adding the sprotect tag to a page does not protect it - only admins may protect or unprotect a page. Please do not add misleading tags to your userpage. Thanks, Gwernol 03:43, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

- Unless you run PickupTruck.com and created the image yourself, you cannot tag it as GFDL, because you do not own the copyright on it. —tregoweth (talk) 16:23, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Automated message to bot owners
As a result of discussion on the village pump and mailing list, bots are now allowed to edit up to 15 times per minute. The following is the new text regarding bot edit rates from Wikipedia:Bot Policy:
Until new bots are accepted they should wait 30-60 seconds between edits, so as to not clog the recent changes list and user watchlists. After being accepted and a bureaucrat has marked them as a bot, they can edit at a much faster pace. Bots doing non-urgent tasks should edit approximately once every ten seconds, while bots who would benefit from faster editing may edit approximately once every every four seconds.
Also, to eliminate the need to spam the bot talk pages, please add Wikipedia:Bot owners' noticeboard to your watchlist. Future messages which affect bot owners will be posted there. Thank you. --Mets501 03:03, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Hi -- you seem to be misunderstanding certain aspects of Wikipedia and how it works. You may want to start here for more info on how to get around here. —tregoweth (talk) 03:15, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

- What do you need? — Deon555talkdesksign here! 03:10, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- What do you mean? Do you want help from an administrator? Or do you want information on how to become an administrator. — Deon555talkdesksign here! 03:15, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- First, you will need to learn more about what administrators do, see WP:ADMIN. Then, if you think you are ready, apply at WP:RfA. You need to make sure you have no previous history of vandalism etc (I see you have been making some page-moves without consensus, that could be seen as vandalism), also the several times you've used {{sprotect}} and the likes may not go in your favour. The community looks to people who have been here 6-12+ months, and have several (usually at least 3) thousand edits. At the moment, you have 86 edits. I doubt you would be granted adminship at the moment. Work on those things (article writing, other contributions, 6-12 months worth) then you should be ready for adminship. — Deon555talkdesksign here! 03:23, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

I'll simply look through your contributions and talk to you about things you've done well, maybe should have done differently. May I ask you a few questions?

- What tasks to you want to get involved in on Wikipedia? I mean, writing articles, tagging pages (e.g. for cleanup), anti-vandalism e.t.c.
- I probably don't know about this. But I should've been good a few weeks ago. ----Invader SoapEvil JokesGir's DogFebruary 13th, 2007 (UTC)
- What are your main interests? We could maybe find you a few good articles to write about.
- My main interest is [probably] editing minorly. ----Invader SoapEvil JokesGir's DogFebruary 13th, 2007 (UTC)
