Investment Building

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Investment Building built in 1922 is an office building located at 1501 K Street NW Washington, D.C. Its main tenants include the Washington office of Sidley Austin LLP and UBS.

Cesar Pelli, who also designed the New Terminal at Reagan National Airport, redesigned the building by leaving two exterial historic limestone facades intact while replacing the rest of the structure. He also reduced the original 11 floors to 10 in an effort to augment the 1920s floor-to-floor heights. The restoration was completed in August 2001.
