The initial section, before we hit the menu of options, is fairly good; it gives a complete plot summary of what we've seen of Inu no Taisho in the manga and anime up to the current point.


Everything after that, though, is absolutely horrendous. Not only is it replete with bad grammar, but it is full of unwarranted and incredibly long bits of speculation, particularly the badly spelled character analysis. I've deleted the entire set of menu sections that basically retold the movie, along with the 'character analysis.'

For now, I've kept the description page done by the same person who did the above, but it also needs massive editing. I'll probably come back and do it later. The information you posted is already present at the beginning of the article, in a neat, concise form that points out all the known info about the Inu no Taisho. There is no need to include the sections you added, which are full of redundant information. That's why I deleted it.

If you want to add to the article, add something that isn't already in the first section.

[edit] InuTaisho's mysterious past

We all know Inutaisho is the great dog-demon general of the western lands of japan, in saigoku or somewhere like that, and father to Sesshomaru and Inuyasho. But we all wanna know more! I'm tired of all this mystic and cryptic past secrets. I wanna see the center of it all. I wanna see or at least have some validation of correct information, on how Inutaisho lived his life, what he did, how he met his first love and sired Sesshomaru, and the full story on how he met Izayoi and how Inuyasha really came to be. I also wanna know more about how Inutaisho ruled the western lands, and a little more on his family history; did he have any relatives or family connections or something like that. Everything in the article is all that has been revealed in the anime and manga at this point. It's also spelled Inu no Taishou.

[edit] Title or name?

While the article does that that Inu no Taisho is a title, does this mean that in reality it is a title, or is a title in the Inuyasha universe? Or is it his actual name, while being a title in real life? The article frequently switches between calling the character "the Inu no Taisho" and just "Inu no Taisho". Pick a stance people. Please.   • I think Inu no Taishou is a title. Myoga called him that only in the third movie, which means Dog General. He's basicly showing respect to his master.

[edit] Sesshomaru's fangs

Okay; Tessaiga was created from one of Sesshomaru's dad's fangs right? If Sesshomaru wants a powerful sword that badly, why doesn't he just comission Totosai to make him a sword from one of his own fangs instead of constantly harassing Inuyasha?

That way, Sesshomaru would have his own destructive sword, made from his own fangs, that he himself could make stronger simply by growing stronger.

Okay, you probably will make the argument that "but he wants what he feels belongs to him as his inheritance!" yeah well, I think the character Sesshomaru should show some more pride in himself, and rather than relying too much on daddy's heirlooms, make his own damn sword with his own damned fangs, that's what I say.

I mean, Sesshomaru is not exactly a pushover is he? He is not as powerful as his dad..... at the very least, not yet. He is a fully grown adult, but he is not fully mature, and if I interpreted the fiction correctly, when Sesshomaru grows old he will be just as powerful as his dad was.

If that's the case then, he should just simply comission Totosai to make him a sword from his own fangs and claws then! I'm sorry but, listening to Sesshomaru whine about not getting what was his when can easily get his own sword gets really tiresome.

In a situation where, okay, it was IMPOSSIBLE to create a sword from Sesshomaru's fangs, then, yeah, I would understand. But, ultimately, Sesshomaru harassing Inuyasha over that stupid sword when can easily have Totosai make him one from his fangs is basically admitting he is too weak for his own fangs to ever create a good sword.

Sesshomaru is impressive but, listen carefully Inuyasha fans; the most powerful character in that fiction is actually Kagome.

At the end of the series, she will surpass even the priestess Midoriko in raw sacred power. Just a feeling.

While this isn't exactly the place to discuss theories and such, there are actually a couple flaws in your argument. The first one being that Totosai doesn't like Sesshomaru and therefore refuses to make any sword for him period. The second flaw in your argument is that while Sesshomaru could have a sword made from one of his fangs, it still wouldn't be as powerful as one made from the fangs of his father, as he was much more powerful than Sesshomaru as a demon. 71.244.185.185 01:17, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Yes. I do understand where you are going, but Sesshomaru wants a sword stronger than Tessaiga. And if Totosai did forge a sword from his own fangs, it would only maybe be half as strong as Tessaiga in the begining of the Inuyasha saga (anime series, manga, movies, ect.). So unless Sesshomaru defeats alot of Great Demons (Taiyoukai) and absorbs their power in his new sword (Sword 1), nearly reviling that of Tessaiga. And in a thousand years or so, (However old his father was) then has Totosai (if still alive) make him a newer sword (Sword 2) from his fangs. So Sword 2 from his "mature" fang absorbs Sword 1, then his Sword 2 will be stronger than InuYasha's Tessaiga. And then Sesshomaru can battle InuYasha, and see whose sword is the strongest. Only if InuYasha is still alive. InuYasha is roughly 200 years old ( seeing that Inu no Taisho fought Hyoga and caused the Kamikaze in either 1274 or 1281 a.d. And Inu no Taisho wasting most of his youki on Hyoga, fought Ryukotsusei not at full strength, so that nearly killed him. And InuYasha was born shortly after his father's duel with Ryukotsusei. So from that time, until he was sealed on the Tree of Ages, was about 150 years. Plus 50 years, not havng aged, his appearance is of a teenager (15 maybe?). And in that 200 year period, Sesshomaru looked like he aged about 4 (Demon)years. So in a thousand years, Sesshomaru would be fairly young to middle-aged, and InuYasha would be an old man).

Also, I really don't know about Kagome being the stongest. Even if her reiki (spirit energy) was as strong or stronger than Midoriko's, it still wouldn't surpass Sesshomaru's youki.
