[edit] Re: Keep up the good work
Thank you for your encouragement and for informing me of the campaign to out suspected federal contractors. I have left some thoughts of my own beneath your comments.
One of my biggest headaches is how to address suspected attempts to manipulate Wikipedia through the use of shills without inadvertently violating the spirit of Wikipedia or its policies. While there have, as you know, been a number of individuals whose conduct I have found rather (for want of a better word) strange, I am reluctant to make any direct accusations of shilling until I am not only sure in my own mind, but I also have very clear evidence to justify my suspicions to others. However I think there are other ways to communicate one's suspicions, just as Robert Hare did in the case of James Grigson (here, a few paragraphs down) and I have tried to do this to the best of my ability.
Unfortunately I do not feel it would be appropriate for me to join the list of Minutemen because it does indeed look like a list of sockpuppets. I fully understand your frustration, but I cannot agree with this particular strategy. Ireneshusband 09:02, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
