[edit] Bulleting / Numbering
That numbering was driving me bonkers too, but I couldn't figure out how to fix it, anytime I tried, it didn't work, I think because numbered lists have to be sequential, like, I had commented between them and that messed it up. So how'd you fix it? Spill! Ariel♥Gold 18:10, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- If you want to indent something within a list structure, you need to use the exact same indent code. So, if you have two levels of indents, which is then a numerical list, you'd be using ::# at the start of each list item. To comment under it, indented, you'd use ::#:. Take a look at the code for the examples below to see other examples.

- indent 1

- sublist2
- comment on sublist2
- sublist3
- bullet comment on line2
- new sublist under bulleted comment, part 1
- new sublist under bulleted comment, part 2

Hope that helps. — Timotab Timothy (not Tim dagnabbit!) 18:22, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Watchlist / Translator
pilfered from: [1]
[edit] User watchlist
To get a watchlist showing users' contributions, instead of edits to particular pages, go to monobook.js and insert the following line: {{subst:js|User:Tra/userwatchlist.js}}
then save the page then press Ctrl + F5. To add users to this watchlist, just add their user pages or talk pages to your normal watchlist.
You can view your user watchlist by following the link in the toolbox to User:Tra/User watchlist (this will only work if you perform the steps above first). It will show you the edits made by the users on your watchlist today. If a user makes a lot of edits in one day, only the latest 20 will be shown. Note: this tool has been tested to work in Internet Explorer and FireFox.
[edit] What links here watchlist
To get a watchlist showing the backlinks to pages you have chosen, go to monobook.js and insert the following line: {{subst:js|User:Tra/whatlinksherewatchlist.js}}
then save the page then press Ctrl + F5. To add pages to this watchlist, go to 'What links here' in the toolbox the click the watch tab.
You can view your user watchlist by following the link in the toolbox to User:Tra/What links here watchlist (this will only work if you perform the steps above first). It will show you the backlinks in article namespace pointing to the pages you have chosen.
For performance reasons, there is a limit of 50 backlinks that can be shown at one time. If the pages in your watchlist total more than 50 backlinks altogether, only the backlinks for the pages highest in the list alphabetically will be shown. To avoid this situation, try to choose pages that do not or should not contain many backlinks, such as disambiguation pages.
[edit] Sidebar translator
To have the 'in other languages' list on the sidebar display the English names of the language (e.g. German instead of Deutsch), go to monobook.js and insert the following line: {{subst:js|User:Tra/sidebartranslate.js}}
then save the page and then press Ctrl + F5. Please note, this will not translate all of the languages in the sidebar so you may see some that are still in their local names. A German version, by Revolus is also available.
