[edit] In Need of Refurbishment
Currently, this article works as a very basic overview but needs improving. I plan to rewrite the entire page, perhaps divide it into two sections: one dealing with Bergson’s idea of the relative and the method of analysis, the other dealing with Bergson’s idea of the absolute and the method of intuition. The former, I think, should show the limits of analysis, to make way for the section on intuition, and, at the same time, lay out Bergson’s critique of language. Hopefully, this article will tie in nicely with the article on Bergson’s theory of Duration, as Bergson identifies intuition with sympathy, which is only possible in the very Duration language cannot represent adequately. - I've refurbished the article, but it may still need a little work. Le vin blanc 23:22, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] References
I've added in just about all of the necessary sources, if not all of them. However, I'm not sure whether or not reference eleven is the correct citation required. If not, which citation is? Le vin blanc 14:06, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
