[edit] History

I have some problems with the 2nd paragraph under history. First, and pedantically, MN-252 has never been US 52. At the time of completion of I-94, it was already MN-252 and before that it was US 169 (on a different alignment). The main problem is that there is no citation for this notion that "694 was never intended to be a full beltway". There is just no evidence for this and while there were indeed "TO" trailblazer signs I think they were there prior to the construction to full interstate standards.

I think this whole paragraph should be removed (likewise with the same paragraph in the I-494 article). Canth1 (talk) 16:10, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Absent any comment I went ahead and removed the offending paragraph.Canth1 (talk) 18:13, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
