[edit] Barstow Freeway

Two problems with redirection of "Barstow Freeway" to this article:

  • Interstate 15 north of the northern junction with Interstate 215 is also called "Barstow Freeway"... it could plausibly be redirected there
  • There is a reference to Barstow Freeway in this article... and the reader that clicks on it comes right back to the article!

I considered writing a "Barstow Freeway" article proper, but was intimidated (my compliments to the authors) by the article on the San Diego Freeway, which also covers a freeway in a similar situation with respect to route naming and numbering.

I went ahead and mentioned this on the talk page for the Barstow Freeway redirect page, but it had been pointed out to me some time ago that nobody reads talk pages for redirect pages, presumably with the exception of the person who sent me the note. Jim 21:02, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
