[edit] "on" vs. "using"

There are three terms in the intro: "on the internet," "by means of the Internet," and "using the Internet." I'm not convinced that these three have unique meaning at all.... How is a crime committed by means of the Internet not committed using the Internet? -Miskaton (talk) 14:15, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] This page needs a match.

I found a link from the storm botnet article to this one ... and what a let down! I'm sorry, I know this isn't flattering; but the writing is terrible on this page. The first few paragraphs could be summed up in two easy-to-read sentences. I'd do this myself, but it would look destructive, like the work of a vandal, to tear down a wall of fluff and replace it with its essence. That, and I'm far from an expert on the subject, with little to add. I was hoping to learn more from this article than that people have child porn and phishing systems.

Read some of the featured articles, some good fiction, et cetera, then come back and read this page ... I think you'll agree.

Again, I'm sorry to sound negative, I just think it's a fascinating subject that merits a much better page. And I'm not the one to write that page.  :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.231.142.60 (talk) 04:02, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
