Talk:Internet Relay Chat services

[edit] ircIIhelp

Shouldn't irciihelp (or ircIIhelp, not sure) be included here? --Cotoco 02:32, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

ircIIhelp was just a bot (thus no special support from the IRC network), it later turned into HelpServ. --lynX

[edit] HelpServ

No reference to HelpServ? X and W are common on undernet.

Q is common on Quakenet.

Services that aren't likely to be on many networks should not be mentioned in an encyclopedic list, this includes QuakeNet and Undernet's special breeds. --lynX

[edit] Other services

The example services it describes are from ANOPE only. A lot of other major networks do not use these services.

Consider updating. --ICAPTCHA 01:32, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

Yes I guess some of those others need to be removed. HelpServ and StatServ seem to be quite common however. --lynX
Not really, only on small networks (usually on unreal+anope combo) - statserv and helpserv are usually not what they are in anoep though ICAPTCHA 22:30, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
