Talk:International Rice Research Institute

Why don't you post some sources here so readers can be enlightened about this so-called "controversy" surrounding IRRI? --Joe fob —Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.127.10.200 (talk) 05:42, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
Agreed. This article totally glosses over all of the controversy surrounding IRRI, such as the fact that they were founded by the US government as a cold war strategy and their Green Revolution technologies were implemented heavy handedly by many US supported dictators and, despite token efforts at a more holistic approach, they continue to have very strong links with agribusiness and have generally promoted industrialization of the Asian food supply. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.69.25.121 (talk) 15:40, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
This sounds more like a promotional article than an encyclopedia article. Seriously needs revision. 128.190.62.54 17:33, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
