[edit] Infobox
Can some one watching this include the standard infobox {{Infobox school}} omitting the unwanted fields? -- Sundar (talk · contribs) 05:04, Apr 27, 2005 (UTC)
- If the template doesn't suit the institute then we can always create another template, say Template:Infobox iiitb inheriting some of the fields from the current template. -- Sundar (talk · contribs) 04:07, Apr 28, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Name change
The name has been changed recently, with "Indian" replaced by "International" --Ambar 19:18, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)
[edit] iiit
The term i square it is common in some parts of Mumbai. User:Nichalp/sg July 5, 2005 12:54 (UTC)
- Yes Nichalp. I know that. They use the above term to refer to this institute in Pune. But, this article is about this institute in Bangalore. You should probably add a reference to the Pune institute in a disambiguation page. -- Sundar \talk \contribs July 6, 2005 04:04 (UTC)
[edit] Review
The article currently has too much of bold text. Someone please read up the MoS and make suitable changes. A good article on such a subject would look like University of Michigan. -- Sundar \talk \contribs 11:35, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Students from IITs/NITs
The claim that IIITB gets applicants from IITs and NITs is tagged as "verification needed." As a faculty member of IIITB, I know of at least one case where a BTech student from some IIT had applied (he got in easily, but did not join). I don't know about NIT applicants, but am not watching the applicant lists either.
Will this help? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 164.164.104.166 (talk) 05:32, 7 December 2006 (UTC).
- I think this should be enough - however I believe the statement be changed to something subtle like `IIITB recieves applications from students across the country including IITs/NITs and etc.' Abhask 01:44, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Iiitb-logo.png
Image:Iiitb-logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
