Talk:International Federation of Translators

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hi everybody, I am just improving on the (literary) translators' visibility on Wikipedia, and I came across this entry which is titled "International Federation of Translators" though the common acronym, FIT, refers to its original French name: Fédération Internationale des Traducteurs. Now I am not a French stickler (though I like the language a lot) but shouldn't the French term (Fédération Internationale des Traducteurs) as well as the usual abbreviation (FIT for which I just added the link at least) deserve a direct workaround/redirect to the English name?

I am a newbie though, so I don't know how to enter an "alternative" entry name for such a redirect. However, I'd be most grateful to receive hints on how to do so -- for the necessity comes up once in a while.
