Talk:International Centre for Human Rights and Democratic Development

[edit] Is the title of this article correct?
Should this article be titled "International Center for Human Rights and Democratic Development (Rights & Democracy)", or the other way around? On the official website, it is identified as "Rights & Democracy", and the site only refers to "International Center for Human Rights and Democratic Development" parenthetically on the 'Who Are We' page. – SJL 02:21, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
- My understanding is that the long name is their official name and "Rights & Democracy" is the short/nickname they go with in practice. It is the Wikipedia format to have the title of article in the more formal way and mentioning informal names beside it.Farmanesh 03:32, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
- I know Wikipedia's format, but I'm not sure that "International Center for Human Rights and Democratic Development" is still the official name of the organisation. All of their current published material is credited to just "Rights & Democracy". – SJL 16:26, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
