Talk:Interlude (magic trick)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The method described here is wrong. This is why wikipedia gets such a bad rap. You have someone posting how they "think" its done, not how its really done. Have some integrity people! Would you rather have wrong info or no info. I think the answer is clear by any logical standards. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.13.201.148 (talk)
- I've tagged the article with {{unreferenced}}, for now. Feel free to suggest any particular improvements. – Luna Santin (talk) 19:40, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- After watching the Copperfield video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKkmoR34czk, it is quite obvious that he is simply twisting his torso to the side, by the way his shoulders are contorted. This isn't even a very good trick. quadpus 21:23, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- My point being that this video itself might as well be the reference. In addition, the challenge by the anon above can't really be taken seriously IMO because the same person who claimed that Jim Steinmeyer owned the copyright on the method as written is now claiming that the method isn't the method after all. quadpus 21:39, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

Scroll down folks, I missed this discussion before I edited. 'bitchen' ric 22:00, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
This is an interesting one. Have been thinking about a few solutions. Will fill out when I am certain of the solution. Please find more vid-clips, would help.
Notice the assistant covers the foot area after she crawls through in the quicktime video.Notice the man's right shoulder is more forward than his left shoulder, twisting his body.
[edit] Edited Method
I edited the method ot be what I think the original author and illustrator meant to say. If I'm wrong, feel free to correct it. I also removed the tag as I think it's at least comprehensible now. :) 'bitchen' ric 22:00, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Deleted Link
Deleted the video link because the video has been taken down.
[edit] Method Deletion
I have now reverted two deletions of the method that did not contain edit summaries. I encourage the individuals responsible to discuss the deletion here along with their reasoning. Someone else will have to pick up the ball or I will violate WP:3RR. Remember, discussion is a good thing! -- Wguynes (Talk | contribs) 01:35, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
