Talk:Interactive C
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There's an unsigned comment: "This code is currently being developed. If you aren't a developer, leave it alone until April 8, 2006." I suppose I should just ignore this because it is obviously after April 8, 2006. I don't understand why it's there, though. I suppose I will delete the message if I don't see any discussion of the topic here after a while. I see that the page is a stub and I have experience with IC 3.2 at The Ohio State University. I'll be adding info, but let me know if anyone has different ideas. ~Kruck 16:29, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
This article refers to Interactive C version 6. This appears very different from the Newton Labs IC that I used at OSU this year, though. Its most recent version is 3.2 . What is the connection between the Newton Labs version and the Botball language described in this article? ~Kruck 16:38, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Proposed Deletion
I definately think that this article should not be deleted. I will soon update the article in reference to the Newton Labs version of Interactive C which is familiar to me, but I will have to research what the Botball IC language is and how it is used.
It is understandable that this language is not known to users of the C programming language because Interactive C is is a "compilation environment" for robots and embedded systems which is meant to be a stripped-down version of C simply to make it easy to use.
