This information was compiled by InterContinental Chicago concierge Douglas Campbell in 2005, from various historical articles collected in the hotel's archives, from photographs and souviniers donated from personal collections, and from descriptions and photographs taken from the 1930 Shriner's yearbook, "The Scimitar".
