Talk:Integration of the normal density function
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article has a very general title - Integration of the normal density function. Why does it only deal with the integral between -infinity and +infinity? Should also solve for the definite integral k1 to k2.
- The integral from −∞ to +∞ is how you get the normalizing constant. For the integral between other bounds, see error function and normal distribution. It lacks any closed-form expression. Michael Hardy 01:58, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
