[edit] Band
Intricate Unit (I.U.) is an underground neo-industrial band from New England. Headed by Ben Kopec, Intricate Unit is a four-member band whose lyrical and instrumental styles have been compared to KMFDM, Ministry, and Nine Inch Nails. They combine a medley of percussion, electronic, and string instrumentals to produce an industrial/rock hybrid, also known as Mechanical Rock. Intricate Unit has recently undergone difficulties within the band, involving differences between band members, and the future of the band is uncertain. The members are working hard on pulling I.U. back together.
