The Interstate 70 Bridges is the first time I-70 crosses the Kansas River since the Intercity Viaduct, and Lewis and Clark Viaduct in Kansas City. They are a pair of deck trusses, carries two lanes on each, two westbound, two eastbound, and are open to traffic. Both were built in 1956, and are supposed to be replaced in the near future.
