Interplay is a ballet made by Jerome Robbins for Billy Rose's Concert Varieties to Morton Gould's 1945 American Concertette. The premiere took place on June 1, 1945, at the Ziegfield Theatre, New York; it premiered at Ballet Theatre October 17 that year. The New York City Ballet premiere was December 23, 1952, at City Center of Music and Drama.
