The Internet Tidal Wave memo was an internal memo written by Microsoft's Bill Gates to executive staff at Microsoft in May 26 1995. The memo outlines Microsoft's failure to grasp the internet's importance. In December 1995 Microsoft made its new internet strategy public and much of it was based on the original Internet Tidal Wave memo.
