[edit] Cast

The podcast is hosted by Sargent alongside co-host Bruce "The Gator" Sanchez,[1] a "drifter-type" from Florida that Sargent ostensibly met at a Los Angeles bar, played by Jay Speiden.[2]

[edit] Format

The podcast is produced in the format of a talk show with Sargent and Gator interviewing interesting people out of garden shed in Sargent's parents backyard. CEO Jim Louderback told Sargent that the only way that he could do another show again is if he did it completely off-site. Revision3 would simply supply the bandwidth to broadcast the show.[3][4]

In reality, the show is filmed on a set in Revison3's new high definition studio at their headquarters in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco, California.[5]

While each weekly show generally focuses on interviews with internet celebrities, the daily show, Lil' Internet Super Star, usually features a specific internet phenomena, often showcased by a video or a website. However, interviews taped during the course of the weekly show, like Sargent's interview with singer Riskay, have ended up as extended daily shows. Lil' Internet Superstar episodes are hosted only by Martin Sargent and are presented as a monologue or a conversation with the audience.
