International Youth Leadership Conference

International Youth Leadership Conference is a week-long forum on world politics, international relations and law for youth aged between 18 and 24.

Hosted by Civic Concepts International, the International Youth Leadership Conference claims "a strong emphasis on cross-cultural, international youth empowerment, and an open-minded exchange of different perspectives on global issues."[1] Recent conferences have seen 150 students from an average of 50 different countries attend.

Participants in the conference play roles in simulated international organizations. Planned for the July 20th – 25th, 2008 conference in Prague are: a UN Security Council crisis meeting; an International Criminal Court trial; a model European Parliament proceeding; visits to foreign embassies, the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Senate Group debates; banquet dinners; and free time to explore Prague.
