The International School of Hamburg, known to students as ISH, has been an IB world school since October of 1978, and therefore offers the IB Diploma Programme.

Students from across the planet meet here due to various reasons, parents job relocations, or just an interest in cultural mixing or switching of schools to learn English or more.

ISH is a private school, and is located in Othmarschen, in the Altona district of Hamburg, Germany.

The School is in a sport program for international schools called NECIS. The students have choices of Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, Girls Soccer, Rugby and Swimming. The student also have a choice of musical things they can do after school, in the Music Enrichment Program they can sign up for Singing lessons, Guitar lessons, Piano lessons, Drumming lessons, violin lessons and more. There is also a few choices of Ballet and Hip Hop dancing available after school.
